VDR-1000 Vertical Machining Centers

This machine is designed for machining medium size plate and disc type workpieces. It can automatically complete milling, boring, drilling and tapping operations in one set up. Table size 510 x 1120/mm and CNC control is Fanuc 18i-MB with linear and arc differential compension available.

Standard spindle speed is 15,000 rpm with 20,000 rpm optional. Linear ways are fitted on all 3 axes to provide high rapid traverse rates of 45m/min in X and Y and 30m/min in z. A newly designed high-speed twin arm 20 tool ATC is fitted with (optional 30 tools) which provides rapid tool change time which is speed adjustable. Machine accuracy can be enhanced with the addition of optional high accuracy scales.

The VDR 1000 is also ideal for 4 axis rotary table work. The machine construction means that high machining accuracies can be achieved when even complicated workpieces are fitted to the rotary table for machining. When combined with a tailstock, shaft type workpiece can be attached to the rotary table for machining of equal and unequal spaced holes, slots, as well as continuous curved surface.
